What it's like at First Baptist
We gather together to worship, then we hear a message from our pastor.
What to expect
What to Wear: Come as you are and how you feel most comfortable, whether that’s in a suit or shorts. We tend to dress pretty casually.
Where to Park: Ample parking space is available in our parking lot. Accessible parking is available.
Accessibility: We offer an accessible ramp into the church and well as accessible seating areas in the sanctuary.
Worship Music: We worship through contemporary music each week, lifting His name, and declaring what God has done and continues to do for us.

About Us
Our history
....
Know God and make Him known.
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
Matthew 28:18-20
Doctrine
As a church and as individuals, we want to honor God by doing things His way. Clearly outlining what we believe as a church is done through our doctrine.
Our doctrinal statements are truths from Scripture that form the foundation of our faith. They are essential to our understanding of salvation and are non-negotiable for our fellowship.
The Bible
The Bible, the 66 books of the Old and New Testament, was written by men divinely inspired and is God’s revelation of Himself to humanity. It is the supreme source of truth and is trustworthy, without any mixture of error in the original writings. It is the true center of Christian union, belief, and living as it stands as the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and religious opinions should be measured.
God
God is the Creator and Ruler of all things. He eternally exists in three persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit, each with distinct attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being. God is eternal, all-powerful, all-knowing, ever present, perfect in love, justice, and holiness and worthy to receive all glory, honor, and praise.
God the Father
God the Son
God the Holy Spirit
Humanity
Unlike the rest of God’s creation, humanity was created in God’s own image. Those whom God created were innocent of sin and endowed with freedom of choice. By their choice influenced by the temptation of Satan, humanity fell into sin resulting in being out of fellowship with God. The inevitable result of sin is death. This sin and death became an inherent part of our flesh and our world, which inclines us all to sin. Satan continues to leverage influence into these predispositions. As transgressors under righteous judgment, only God’s grace exhibited in Jesus Christ can bring humanity back into fellowship with God.
Salvation
Salvation is the process God designed to restore an intimate relationship between Himself and humanity that was lost because of sin. God’s grace was extended for all people in the person and work of Jesus.
The Church
The church is a communion of those who have accepted Christ by faith being called out of darkness into His marvelous light. It is the body of Christ, the bride of Christ, the kingdom of Christ, and also the household of Christ.
Eternity
Being made in the image of God, humanity has an eternal quality to life. Although we die physically, we all face the literal realities of an eternal destination. Scripture teaches that Heaven is the eternal destination of those reckoned righteous through Christ and that Hell is the eternal destination of those bearing the weight of their own sin. Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly to earth. Those consigned to Hell will be eternally separated from God in everlasting punishment and those who have trusted in Christ will be resurrected with glorified bodies to receive their reward and dwell forever in Heaven with the Lord.
